Am I Getting Screwed? ("the App") is operated by ScrewedOrNot ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

Documents you submit: When you paste text, upload a file, or take a photo, the content is sent to our server for AI analysis. We do not store your documents. They are processed in real time and immediately discarded.

Device identifier: We generate a random anonymous ID stored on your device to manage rate limits. This ID is not linked to your name, email, or any personal information.

Approximate location: We use your general location (city/region level, provided by our hosting infrastructure) to give you locally relevant analysis, such as regional pricing norms or tax rules. We do not use GPS or precise location.

Subscription data: If you purchase a subscription, your purchase is processed by Google Play or Apple App Store. We receive a transaction identifier to manage your premium access. We do not see your payment details.

What We Don't Collect

• No account or registration required
• No name, email, phone number, or address
• No document storage — your files are never saved
• No GPS or precise location tracking
• No contact list, camera roll, or microphone access beyond what you explicitly share

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Vertex AI (Gemini): Processes your documents for analysis. Subject to Google Cloud Terms.
• Cloudflare: Hosts our website and API. Provides general location data from network routing.
• RevenueCat: Manages subscriptions. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
• Google AdSense: Displays ads on the web version. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics: Collects anonymous usage data on the web version. See Google Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

We do not retain your documents or analysis results. Rate-limiting records (anonymous device ID + daily scan count) are reset daily. Subscription status is retained while your subscription is active.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal information, there is generally nothing to delete. If you have questions or concerns, contact us.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
