Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 14, 2026

Am I Getting Screwed? ("the App") is operated by N Marketing SASU ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

Documents you submit: When you paste text, upload a file, or take a photo, the content is sent to our server for AI analysis. We do not store your documents. They are processed in real time and immediately discarded.

Device identifier: We generate a random anonymous ID stored on your device to manage rate limits. This ID is not linked to your name, email, or any personal information.

Approximate location: We use your general location (city/region level, provided by our hosting infrastructure) to give you locally relevant analysis, such as regional pricing norms or tax rules. We do not use GPS or precise location.

Subscription data: If you purchase a subscription, your purchase is processed by Google Play or Apple App Store. We receive a transaction identifier to manage your premium access. We do not see your payment details.

Scan history: If you use the app, your analysis results are stored locally on your device for your convenience. This data never leaves your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

Anonymous scan metadata: After analysis, we retain a small set of non-identifying signals from each scan: a document category label (e.g., lease, gym, insurance), a short subject tag (up to 30 characters, such as "Orange mobile plan"), your verdict score (0–5), the number of red and green flags found, high-level contract terms (such as the primary price, currency, and commitment duration in months), and your approximate country and city (no street address). We never retain the document itself, the text of any flag, the analysis content, or any personally identifying details (names, addresses, account numbers). This aggregated data helps us understand pricing patterns, improve the product, and publish anonymous insights (e.g., "average gym contract price in Lyon" or "typical lease penalty in Paris"). It cannot be linked back to you.

What We Don't Collect

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Data Retention

We do not retain your documents or the full analysis content. Anonymous scan metadata (document category, short subject tag, verdict score, flag counts, contract terms such as price, currency, and duration, and approximate country and city) is retained for aggregate analytics and reporting. Rate-limiting records (anonymous device ID + daily scan count) are reset daily. Subscription status is retained while your subscription is active.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account directly from the app via Settings > Delete Account. Your account will be scheduled for deletion with a 30-day grace period, during which you can cancel the deletion at any time. After 30 days, all associated data (subscription status, scan quotas, device identifiers) is permanently and irreversibly removed. You can also request deletion by emailing us at [email protected].

Your Rights

We process pseudonymous identifiers (device ID, hashed IP address) for rate limiting and subscription management. Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to: access your data, request correction, request deletion, and object to processing. To exercise these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

International Data Transfers

When you submit a document for analysis, it is sent to Google Vertex AI servers, which may be located in the United States. This transfer is governed by Google Cloud's Data Processing Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes requests through its global network, with data minimization at the edge.
